Farnam® SandClear™

SandClear contains psyllium seed husk, recommended by veterinarians because it absorbs water in the intestines to form a gel-like substance that increases bulk, softens stools, and helps remove sand from the ventral colon.

Psyllium Husk: 102,250mg

Inactive Ingredients:
Artificial flavors, mineral oil, natural flavors, propionic acid (as a preservative)

Directions for Use:
For average size (1,000 lb.) adult horse, mix in one scoop (5 oz.) to 1.5 scoops of SandClear™ (5 oz. scoop enclosed) with daily grain ration for one full week (7 days) out of every month. Feed less to ponies, yearlings and foals; more to larger horses and draft breeds.

Warnings:
For use in horses only. Keep out of the reach of other animals and children. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.

Why did you choose this?

We live in the desert. Our horses always throw their hay on the ground which means they're always taking in sand. We have used Sand Clear for 12 years and ours horses have never had sand colic.

I live in the desert, and sand colic is just always a possibility. This keeps my horses safe!
